US, Russia & Canada Fighter Jets International Flight Hijack Drill 

A first-of-its-kind hijacking exercise involving the U.S., Canadian and Russian militaries went "flawlessly," and a similar drill is planned next year, an American officer said.

 

In a historic first for Cold War adversaries, US, Canadian and Russian military officers directed fighter jets like F-22 to test how well they could track an international terrorist hijacking over the Pacific Ocean. The AP had exclusive access to the jet.
