Can cell phones really cause plane mishaps?

PHOENIX - Despite the warnings and flight attendants telling travelers to shut off cell phones, laptops, and other electronic devices, some people still keep them on while flying.
On Thursday, Good Morning America detailed a confidential report outlining 75 separate incidents believed to have been caused by cell phones.
Those incidents include the plane's autopilot turning itself off, GPS systems that didn't work properly, and rapid changes in altitude. Read more.
If you've ever flown, have you seen people using phones when they shouldn't? Will you rethink the issue and maybe say something next time? Or does this not concern you at all?
