Formula 1 World Champion leader Hamilton in the first Bahrain practice ahead of Vettel 


Five days after the first Grand Prix win of his career pointed the 26-year-old German, the Red Bull drivers Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel in 1:32,861 minutes relatively clear on the second and third places. Behind championship leader Lewis Hamilton and Rosberg in McLaren Mercedes was followed by team-mate Michael Schumacher.
The Force India declined due to security concerns of "logistical reasons" for participation in the second session in the afternoon.
