McDonald's Lady Discusses Burger "Shrinkage" Problem
The burger on the left suffers from steam shrinkage.
You know how fast food products always look so defeated in real life, in comparison to their portrayal in advertisements? Well, one McDonald's employee is here to explain that there's really no difference between the product you see in their ads, and the one you're holding in your hands... except maybe the size. During a photoshoot for a Quarter Pounder with cheese, she explains there's only some slight "finessing of the product" to ready it for print, and that the notable size difference between a QP from the store, and the one created for the shoot, is just because "the box that our sandwiches come in keep the sandwiches warm, which creates a sort of steam effect, and makes it contract a bit."
