"Not Racist" Arizona State Senator Cecil Ash Suggests Holiday for White People

It all started during a session of the Arizona House when Representative Richard Miranda suggested that the state should have a Latino American day.

In response, Representative Cecil Ash suggested the state have a holiday for whites. He told the House:

Because a Latino state senator suggested a holiday celebrating Latino culture, White state senator Cecil Ash suggested a holiday celebrating white culture, using rhetoric about the time "when we [whites] do become in the minority, you'll have a day for us."
